Government failure to reintroduce exit checks undermines immigration measures - Brake3.01.55pm BST (GMT +0100) Tue 9th Sep 2008 Commenting on the Migration Advisory Committee’s recommendations for the types of jobs that can be filled by non-EU workers, Liberal Democrat Home Affairs Spokesperson, Tom Brake said: "Strict rules governing visas are undermined by the Government’s persistent failure to reintroduce exit checks."
